Bruce Montgomery, RN
A unique mix of compassion and experience. When you meet Bruce you will understand why he installs grab bars and feels that it is important to keep seniors safe. He is an RN who loves construction. Photo: Bruce pictured on the right, works with other Habitat for Humanity volunteers.
A Registered Nurse
Bruce has always enjoyed helping people, and as a young man he wanted to become a nurse. He graduated from Rutgers University as a registered nurse (RN) and worked 16 years in hospitals, home care and emergency room settings. In 2006 he hung up his scrubs for a tool belt. Construction was always in his jeans.
Over 30 Years in Residential Construction
Trained as a builder and remodeler, Bruce has been involved in residential construction for over 30 years. Whether upgrading his home or managing his rental properties, Bruce understands good construction and the need for a safe and comfortable living environment.
Having been married to an occupational therapist for over 20 years, Bruce is acutely aware of the needs of seniors living safely in their homes. He completed the Residential Code Specialist course, which is the entrance in training for building inspectors. He takes great pride in working within the budget of the elderly and their families. He knows how to give you the most value for your hard-earned dollars.
Bruce is a member and volunteers for numerous community groups, including:
